Our Mission
Brightwood – Forest Manor Community Center’s (BWFMCC) mission is to transform lives by fostering community empowerment for youth, adults, and families through Health & Wellness and Community Safety programming.
Our Goals are to cultivate and expand opportunities, skills, resources, and connections to enrich lives.
We believe that each person should be empowered to become their best which shall enable them to effectively help themselves and others.
Despite the chaos in the economy and the world at-large, the Brightwood- Forest Manor Community Center continues to be “The Balm of Brightwood”. For over 90 years, we have continued to deliver excellent programming while also giving hope to families around Indianapolis.
Moving Forward Together
Brightwood is moving forward to engage everyone in progressive, meaningful programs. We are adding several components to broaden our reach in the community.
Our Vision
“We envision Brightwood Community Center to be a community core service center that engages in holistic, inclusive, and equitable practice for all community members.”
