Survival Skills for Women

March 5—May 7, 2008

Twice a year, in the spring and fall, this class is offered for up to 15 women in each class.  Ten 3-hour sessions are accompanied by continental breakfast.  Transportation and childcare are also provided.  With education and employment as goals, Survival Skills for Women courses are assertiveness, personal health, nutrition, money management, child management, self-advocacy, legal rights, coping with crisis, community resources and re-entry/employment.

 

 

Computer Classes

March 5—May 7, 2008

Beginning level classes are currently offered twice a year, in fall and winter, from 9:00am—Noon.  Beginning level meets for ten 3-hour sessions.  Advanced classes meet for four 2-hour sessions and are offered for students who wish to enhance their skills.  The goal of these classes is to equip students with skills for entry-level employment.
